In Sunday's 1-0 Premier League loss to Wolves, Rasmus Hojlund was the target of criticism from Jamie O'Hara, a former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder.
In addition to making a huge blunder against Wolves, O'Hara implied that the Denmark international isn't good enough to play for Manchester United.
Pablo Sarabia scored a second-half free-kick to give the away team the victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, and Hojlund was unable to score.
Hojlund creates a huge mess of it, O'Hara observed while analyzing the game on Sky Sports.
"He is making his way through. This is Mainoo's best run ever.
Covering acres of space, he is. There's no way Mainoo couldn't have a free shot at goal after receiving that pass.
However, it takes Hojlund twenty minutes to remove it from his feet, and the Wolves quickly return to make a tackle.
His time at Manchester United was defined by that: inadequate, to put it mildly. On his own, Hojlund achieves little at the front.
Hojlund has been underwhelming since joining Manchester United from Atalanta in 2023.
