The former president has been discharged from the London hospital, according to Garba Shehu, who was speaking on behalf of Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
After being released from the hospital, Buhari is now in recuperation mode, according to Shehu.
According to the ex-presidential spokesperson, who appeared on Politics Today on Channels Television, Buhari looked better after stepping down from office than he had before becoming president.
“Buhari has been discharged,” he said.
The intensity was downplayed. He is currently receiving care after being hospitalised. His focus is now on getting well.
"Every day, he improves, but you can't declare it's over until it's all done."
After stepping down as president, he was far more put together than he had been previously. His diet is balanced, and he exercises frequently; he is 82 years old.
He conducts a vigorous 1.5-hour walk around the farm in Daura four times a week.
"Even in the UK, he ravaged the streets before he got sick, during his medical checkups."
