The 2025 Afro Nation festival kicked off with performances by Shallipopi and Davido, two well-known Nigerian artists.
An entertainment firm started the three-day annual music festival Afro Nation in 2019 to highlight and honour the music and culture of Africa.
According to FONENERIK, the yearly event began on Wednesday night in Portugal for the 2025 edition.
In a performance of his smash single "Lahoo," Shallipopi brought out his siblings and other performers, stealing the spotlight.
'If,' 'Fall,' Dami Duro, and 'Fia' were performed by Davido.
The event will be closed out on Friday with performances by Burna Boy, Kamo Mphela, Booba, and Dexta Daps, followed by Thursday night's performance by Nigerian diva Tems.
With the caption "ANP2025? OBO OUR HEADLINER!!" Afro Nation shared the video on its official Facebook. With the greatest and worst energy that 001 could deliver, @davido ended our first day of #ANP2025.
At #ANP2025, the legendary @theycallmeshallipopi performed a SCATTERING of the Portimao.
