According to FONENERIK, the home-based Super Eagles have begun training for the 2024 African Nations Championship.
On Monday night, at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, 21 players participated in the team's initial training session.
On Tuesday (today), the other fourteen players will likely report to training camp.
Last Monday, head coach Eric Chelle announced a preliminary roster of 35 players for the next tournament.
The squad will likely play a number of friendly matches while at training camp.
In Group D of the 2024 CHAN finals, Nigeria will go up against the reigning champions Senegal, Sudan, and Congo.
Tuesday, August 7th, at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar, Chelle's squad will face Senegal in their season opener.
They were absent for the last two competitions, but they're back this time.
The finals of the CHAN 2024, which will be held in three different countries, will begin on August 2 and continue until August 30.
