The signing of Victor Osimhen, a striker from Nigeria, by Napoli has been a huge setback for Galatasaray.
Galatasaray offered €70 million over five installments for Osimhen, but Napoli turned down the offer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Two instalments of €75 million, accompanied by bank letters of credit, are what the Serie A winners are requesting.
This comes only days after Galatasaray's pursuit of a permanent transfer deal for Osimhen from Napoli took a major hit.
The €75 million offered by Osimhen's release clause was rejected by Napoli.
During the whole 2018–19 season, Osimhen was out on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old has made his intentions known to join the Turkish giants, and he has now personally agreed to a three-year deal with an additional year's option.
Additionally, Osimhen has already stated his intention to skip Napoli's upcoming preseason.
