Ola Aina expressed his joy at extending his contract with Nottingham Forest, a club in the Premier League.
The Nigerian international will stay at the City Ground until 2028 according to a three-year deal that the Tricky Trees revealed on Monday.
Last season, Aina contributed to Nuno Espirito Santo's seventh-place finish with two goals and an assist.
For the most part of the season, the 28-year-old played right back.
The defender was named Goal of the Month once in addition to Player of the Month.

"I am now fully committed to getting ready for the new season and putting in the necessary work," he stated on the club's official website.
Two years ago, Aina transferred freely to Forest.
Over the course of all competitions, he has appeared in 59 games for the Reds.
