Wizkid expressed remorse for attacking Reekado Banks for announcing the release of a single in October 2020 during the EndSARS protests, according to the Nigerian singer.
According to FONENERIK NEWS, Reekado Banks and Wizkid had a falling out when Wizkid criticised Reekado for promoting the release of their joint single "Omo Olomo" during the #EndSARS campaign.
Many were taken aback by Wizkid's reaction, in which he referred to Reekado Banks as a "fool" and a "clout animal."
Reekado Banks recently discussed the public backlash from their split on The Esther Show, where he clarified that, despite his initial objection, it was his management's insistence on releasing the song at that time.
Noting that the Starboy CEO "was a little grateful about it," he said that Wizkid recently paid him a visit and they reconciled.
Wizkid, he added, has acknowledged that his reaction was a little extreme.
Wizkid paid a visit to Banks's restaurant not long ago, according to Banks. After our brief conversation, he expressed some remorse.
It seemed like he should have reconsidered his decision. In addition, he spoke about how he had acted towards Don Jazzy.
He made it sound like the three of us were just bereaved mothers in the music industry. We are fine now since he feels bad about that time.
