Like every other smartphone maker under the sun, Huawei will hold a pre-IFA press conference early next month too. This will happen on September 4, and we're expecting to see at least one new handset being announced there.
A previous teaser hinted at the number 7, so we assume the device will be called either Ascend Mate 7 or Ascend D7. Anyway, Huawei has now sent us a more thorough teaser presentation, and we've extracted the most interesting pages from it in image form.
The six cats in the image you can see above to the left may refer to Cat.6 LTE support being built-in. This will allow the new Huawei handset to reach theoretical peek download speeds of up to 300 Mbps.
And finally we have that 7 hinted at yet again. Huawei has skipped digits for its smartphone iterations in the past (like the Ascend P6, for example), so it wouldn't be surprising to find that number in the new device's name.
All of these signs point to a top of the line offering getting official on September 4, but recently we've seen a mid-range Huawei phone leak with a fingerprint sensor on its back. That could be unveiled at IFA too, alongside the higher-end model
