Smartphone giant, Samsung has introduced its much expected flip phone into the Chinese market, the dual screen Android based W2016 has as of now been listed officially on the company’s website.
The W2016 smartphone features two 3.9 inch super Amoled touchscreens with both screens being of a 768×1280 resolution. With the smartphone running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s custom TouchWiz UI running on top, it also has a T9 physical keyboard and supports dual SIM function.
The listing of the Samsung W2016 which appeared in China indicate that the smartphone is made mainly out of metal and glass and supports China Mobile networks. Other connectivity features of the device include the 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G technology support.
The smartphone which is powered by an Octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz is coupled with a RAM of 3GB size and features a 16MP rear camera equipped with LED flash for lighting and a 5MP front facing camera.  The camera sensors featured on the W2016 is same as those in the high end devices such as the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and so on also released by the smartphone company. The smartphone packs an internal storage memory of 64GB with no microSD card slot and is powered by a 2,000mAh battery.
Other connectivity options supported by the W2016 device include the Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth, 3G and Micro-USB options.
